Helnan Marina Sharm Hotel was the first hotel ever built in Sharm area by Israel during their occupation to Sinai from 1967 to 1982. The aim of building the hotel in this location was to enable the army officers to receive their families for visit in the site. After 1973 war, Peace negotiations started between Egypt & Israel, and part of these negotiations took place in Sharm at this hotel between the former Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat & the Israeli Prime Minister. After the liberation of the Sinai Peninsula in 1982, Egypt took over the hotel from Israeli authority and continues to operate it. In 1990, Helnan international hotels took over the hotel management as one of the first hotel chain to invest in South Sinai area and especially in Sharm El Sheikh. Helnan increased the hotel capacity to 305 rooms with different hotel facilities. Now Sharm El Sheikh City became one of the major touristic destinations in the world with more than 40 thousand rooms.

Location & Information:

Helnan Marina Sharm is located direct on the sea in the heart of Na’ama Bay at a distance of 11 km from the Sharm El Sheikh International airport, 5 km from the bus station and 7 km from the Old Market. The hotel is on the far edge of the bay, where the whole bay is seen from all rooms with a view of a life time.

The hotel has 6 outlets to fulfill the guest’s needs with satisfactory impression.

"Sharm Café", the main dining room, where the guest would enjoy international breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets while watching the beautiful view on Neama bay.
