Helnan Nuweiba hotel was built in Nuweiba area by the Israeli army during their occupation to Sinai from 1967 to 1982. It was like a camp for their officer and families as well .After 1973 war, Peace negotiations started between Egypt & Israel, after the liberation of the Sinai Peninsula in 1982, Egypt begin to handle all the matters in the area from Israeli authority and continue to operate it. In 1990, Helnan international hotels planned to invest in South Sinai especially in Nuweiba after Helnan Marina Sharm.Helnan International Hotels took the decision to start up January 1^st 2010 for re-establishing Nuweiba resort. The Hotel has a privacy to be the most attractive one as it is located in the middle of Nuweiba area close to Taba from the south, Sharm El Sheikh and Saint Katherine from the north.

In fact the plan was to change the atmosphere of the whole resort areas to Helnan standard shape, we spared no efforts immediately to renovate and upgrade the hotel rooms, landscape, restaurant, as it was the main target, now we started already to renovate 50 rooms in full as a first step.

Now Helnan Nuweiba Bay Resort will be capable to offer the good service and high quality.

Location:

With an unforgettable view on the Gulf of Aqaba and the Saudi mountains, Helnan Nuweiba Bay is spread on a huge land and it offers the possibility of a holiday fully in contact with nature. It is strategically located close to Nuweiba harbour and 10 minutes walk from Tarabin Bedouin village; in the north there are Taba airport at 80 km and Eilat border at 60 km; in the south Dahab is 60 km away, while Sharm el Sheikh airport is about 2 hours drive.

Beach, Sea & Reef:
This chalet style resort lies at the end of two small coves directly on a 1 km unspoiled sandy coastline, offering easy entrance to the clear waters of the Red Sea. At the far end of the beach a jetty allows sea sport activities, while underwater world lovers can enjoy snorkelling just in front of the shore.

Rooms:
Uniquely located only 100m away from the private beach, 129 chalets equipped

With satellite TV, direct international telephone, individual air conditioning, mini fridge and bathroom with shower. Standard rooms are simpler and smaller, superior rooms have a private patio overlooking the gardens, with hairdryer. Both room types can accommodate a maximum of 3 people whereas superior rooms are more spacious and can also take up to 2 adults and 2 children. For campers life style, 45 huts with 2 beds, ceiling fan, shared showers and bathrooms; camp guests may use the resort facilities free where applied, and TV (only local channels) and mini fridge available upon request.

Restaurants & Bars:
At the main restaurant buffets are displayed at breakfast, lunch and dinner; a-la-carte menus with international and Egyptian specialities are served at the restaurant terrace overlooking the sea and at the swimming pool. Enjoy Bedouin style food and buffet dinners with entertainment at the Bedouin Layaly Tent or seafood at the open air restaurant located only 20m from the seafront.

Bars are available at the beach, the pool and the lounge. For camp guests buffets at the main restaurant may be charged with a discounted hotel guest rate.

Facilities:
Swimming pool for adults and 1 for children, located close to the beautiful beach. Internet café, laundry, bank, shopping arcade; safe box complimentary at the reception area Kids’ playground. Towels, sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge at the beach and around the pool. All the resort outlets are reachable by disabled guests.

Activities & Entertainment:
The village offers several recreational facilities overlooking the beach. Activities free of charge: beach volleyball and table tennis. With charge: 2 tennis courts, billiards, canoeing, paddleboat, banana boat, glass bottom boat, dive centre, massages, bicycle rental, camel and horse rides, desert safaris.

Gym Facilities and Health Club:
At the Main Lobby are available the whole day from 9. 00.am. Till 10.00.pm.

It contains Jacuzzi, Sauna, Massage, Steam bath, Tennis Table.
