The Old Town
A living and breathing past
In the Old Town, people and history live and breathe. The Old Town urban museum's 75 historical buildings, period interiors, animals and people give visitors ample opportunity to make themselves feel that they are back in a Danish market several centuries ago.

Marselisborg Palace
Holidays, pleasure and family life are closely inter-linked for most of us - as it is for the Danish Royal family which takes its refuge at the Marselisborg Palace in ?rhus - this being the Royal couple's holiday residence. There is music on the quay and many hands waving small Danish flags when the ?rhus citizens come to the harbour in the summertime to greet the city's most popular holiday guests - Queen Margrethe and her family. Year after year they arrive in ?rhus by ship to spend part of the summer holiday at the Marselisborg Palace, where they usually also spend Christmas and Easter.

AROS
The new art museum in Aarhus is one of the largest museums in Northern Europe. In the downstairs area visitors can enjoy the major special exhibitions presenting international installation art.

Family Parks
Tivoli Friheden is Aarhus' amusement park. It is situated a couple of kilometres from the hotel. The park offers a feast of exciting and fun amusements for the entire family. Bring your own lunch, sit down on a bench or on the grass and enjoy the experience of the wonderful garden. There is a roller-coaster and other speed-thrillers for older children and playful souls of all ages, and there are also less wild amusements such as a merry-go-round, Tivoli boats and the Rio Grande train.
