Hotel History

Helnan Palestine Hotel was built to accommodate the Arab Kings and Heads of States participating in the Second Arab Summit Alexandria, Egypt in September 5th, 1964 . The summit formally approved the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization. Naturally, nothing was spared to provide maximum luxury, beauty and comfort. The hotel's location was carefully chosen in February 1964 by the late President" Gamal Abd El Nasser "amongst all Hotels in Egypt, where it was built in 6 months on a historical ground at the unique location of Montaza's fine beaches with its crystal blue water and surrounded by the vast magnificent gifts of nature, 350 acres of gardens of Montaza Royal Palace, which was once the site of the late King Farouk's summer palace. Helnan International Management Company took over the management of Palestine Hotel in 1987, and since then the hotel witnessed two renovations ending with a third complete renovation and refurbishment in 2002 to be the chosen place for hosting Kings, Queens and Presidents came from every place of the world to witness the Historical inauguration for Alexandria Bibliotheca. Helnan Palestine continued to be the place for accommodation of all heads of states, delegations and all the famous names visiting Alexandria, looking for Luxury with comfort, Excellence with style, Elegance with simplicity in service and hospitality

Directions
From East
Heading from Rashid Town Road, pass through Abu Qir and Maamoura Village, and then turn right. The hotel is located approximately 0.5 kilometers after the bridge inside the Montaza park.

From Alexandria Marina Port (North)
Proceed to Mansheya Square, and follow the Corniche Road straight to Montazah.

From West
Head straight on Corniche Road for approximately 15 kilometers.

From South
Head towards the city center, cross over the flyover, and proceed straight to the end of Corniche Road.

(A) The 32 King double and 81 twin Rooms measure between 30 and 35 square meters and feature all the standard amenities. All our Superior (A) Rooms have views to Royal Palace and Mediterranean Sea .

(B) The 31 King double and 51 twin Rooms measure between 30 and 35 square meters and feature all the standard amenities. All our Superior Rooms (B) have views to Royal Mediterranean Sea and the private beach .

Deluxe Room
The 02 double and 03 twin Deluxe Rooms measure between 35 and 45 square metres and are with private terrace. They are, like all of the 200 rooms of the hotel.

Junior Suite
The 04 double Junior Suites are located on the 1st & 2nd floors only and every room has its own balcony. Every suite consists of one parlor having dining and living comfortable furniture with guest bathroom connected to a master king size bedroom are quite large and furnished in beautiful colors. The Suite measures approximately 70 square metres. All our Junior suites are overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Corner Suite
The 10 double Corner Suites and are located 2 on each floor form the 1st to the 5th floor. Every room has its own balcony. Every suite consists of one parlor having dining and living comfortable furniture with guest bathroom connected to a master king size bedroom are quite large and furnished in beautiful colors. The Suite measures approximately 100 square meters. All our Junior suites are overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Presidential Suite
The 2 double Presidential Suites are furnished mainly in soft tone colors and offer ultimate comfort. The adjacent Exclusive Room may be connected to the Presidential Deluxe Suite. The Suite measures approximately 150 square meters. All our Presidential suites are overlooking the front of Mediterranean Sea.

Pent House Suite
The Pent House Suite, measuring 220 square metres, is the largest suite of the Helnan Palestine Hotel. Through a large ante-room one comes directly into the living room and from there into the elegant dining room and the adjacent library. In addition to a king size master bedroom , dressing room and twin bedded room and kitchen.
